Day 1: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. You will be met by your guide and then drive to Arusha for overnight.
Day 2:After breakfast, you will begin your safari by driving to Tarangire National Park.
Day 3: Today you will experience a full day of driving around Tarangire National Park. Be on the lookout for spectacular Baobab trees.
Day 4: Experience an afternoon game drive that ends with a magnificent view of the sunset. During the hot afternoon sun, you will drive by the Tarangire River and see all of the animals that have come to cool down.
Day 5: After breakfast, bid farewell to the Tarangire National Park and drive along the Ngorongoro highland to the Ndutu Conservation Area and Southern Serengeti.
Day 6: Your day will be filled with driving around the Ndutu Conservation Area. You will see many species of animals and beautiful landscapes as you drive through this protected area.
Day 7: After breakfast, you will depart the Ndutu Conservation Area and embark on a day of driving through the Serengeti National Park. As you drive, you will see giraffe, gazelle, and zebra. You will end up in the Central Serengeti.
Day 8: After breakfast, you will set out in search of lions, leopards, and cheetahs on a game drive around the central Serengeti National Park.
Day 9: Today, you will start your morning by having breakfast in the bush. You will watch the animals as they wake up and begin their day while the sun rises over the Serengeti Plains.
Day 10: After breakfast, you will depart the Central Serengeti and fly to the Arusha Airport where you will catch your flight to the breathtaking island of Zanzibar.
Day 11: The island of Zanzibar is known for its growth of spices. These spice plants can be seen on a tour of the spice plantation. You will learn about how these spices impacted the history of Zanzibar and its trade routes. At the plantation, you will be treated to a Swahili lunch cooked with many of these traditional spices.
Day 12: Today, you will explore Stone Town. Stone Town is the main city in Zanzibar. You will have an opportunity to examine the beautiful architecture, view the many mosques, and do some shopping. You may also wish to go to the evening market in Stone Town where you can take in true Zanzibar culture.
Day 13: After breakfast, you will be escorted to the Zanzibar Airport where you will catch your flight to Dar es Salaam International Airport. You will then prepare for your departure flight.
