Leaving behind the relentless pace of a busy city to embark on a safari in Tanzania is a transformative experience that replaces noise and congestion with the raw beauty of nature. The constant rush of traffic, crowded streets, and endless schedules quickly fades as you enter vast landscapes filled with golden savannas, towering acacia trees, and an incredible diversity of wildlife. Watching elephants roam freely, lions resting under the shade, giraffes gracefully crossing the plains, and herds of wildebeest stretching to the horizon creates a deep appreciation for the natural world. The crisp morning air, breathtaking sunrises, and peaceful evenings under a sky filled with countless stars offer a sense of calm that is impossible to find in the city. Day 1: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. You will be met by your Safari Tracks guide and escorted to your hotel for the evening.

 

Day 2: After breakfast you will leave Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park. Along the way you will pass through small Tanzanian villages and get a view of what bush life is like in Tanzania. Overnight: Tarangire Safari Lodge

 

Day 3: Today we will wake up early to have breakfast with animals. We will watch the sunrise over Tarangire National Park and see how the day starts for the animals. We will continue our day by driving around the park to see elephants, giraffe, and gazelle. Overnight: Tarangire Safari Lodge

 

Day 4: After breakfast, you will leave Tarangire Safari Lodge and drive to the Serengeti Plains where you will see magnificent acacia trees and beautiful landscapes. Overnight: Serengeti Serena Hotel

 

Day 5: We will spend our day driving around the Serengeti National Park. We will be on the search for big cats, hoping to spot a lion, leopard, or cheetah. Along our way we will see many other species of animals that call the Serengeti home. Overnight: Serengeti Serena Hotel

 

Day 6: After breakfast, you will depart Serengeti Serena Hotel and leisurely drive through the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Highlands as you make your way to the Ngorongoro Serena Hotel. Overnight: Ngorongoro Serena Hotel

 

Day 7: You will depart early for a full day of exploring the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As you enter the crater you will pass through an area of rainforest where you will see baboon, blue monkey, and buffalo. You will then enter the vast open lands of the crater, which is about 100 square miles. The crater is home to many species of animals, including rhino! Overnight: Ngorongoro Serena Hotel

 

Day 8: Depart Ngorongoro Serena Hotel after breakfast and drive through Arusha, with possibilities for shopping and sightseeing. Your guide will then escort you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for you departure flight.
